Use the sensor's four mounting holes, which are .196"
( 4.98 mm ) in diameter, to fasten the sensor securely.
The unit may be mounted directly to a grounded metal bulkhead or bracket. Multiple units must be spaced at least 150 mm apart, laterally. |

| Setup Procedure | ||

Connect a DC voltmeter between the output lead of the sensor and ground. With no target present, turn the adjustment potentiometer fully clockwise (CW). The voltmeter should read greater than 6 volts. Then, turn the pot counterclockwise (CCW) until the voltage drops to approximately 3 volts. Place the intended target material in the sensing field and adjust for the desired voltage outputs, with respect to the variations you wish to monitor. |
