Installation/Setup Procedures

Use the nuts supplied with the switch to mount it to a bracket with M30 x 1.5 threads or a through-hole for 30mm.

Multiple units must be spaced at least 30mm apart, laterally, and the sensing face of each unit must extend 30mm beyond any mounting bracket.
     Your sensor's electrical connections must agree with those shown in the wiring diagram above.
Setup Procedure
Connect a DC voltmeter between the output lead of the sensor and ground.

With no target present, turn the adjustment potentiometer fully clockwise (CW). The voltmeter should read greater than 6 volts. Then, turn the pot counterclockwise (CCW) until the voltage drops to approximately 3 volts.

Place the intended target material in the sensing field and adjust for the desired voltage outputs, with respect to the variations you wish to monitor.
